With over a decade of experience in private equity, public, and family-owned businesses, Nate specializes in driving EBITDA improvements and delivering data-driven insights to achieve measurable results. As a seasoned financial and operational leader, he has served as Division CFO and built FP&A functions from the ground up, driving shareholder value through transformational processes and execution.

As Head of FP&A and Business Operations for a family-owned business, he played a key role on a leadership team that grew revenue by 50% and doubled EBITDA. By leveraging data-driven decisions and meaningful KPIs, the business created over $325M of equity value for shareholders in under three years. During the acquisition, Nate led diligence and finance efforts while owning the financial model that positioned the business for sale based on forecasted EBITDA. Post acquisition, he successfully turned around a facility while establishing a division of filtration companies. He acted as Controller, CFO, and Operating Partner while driving operational improvements, sponsor-portfolio alignment, and company culture.

Whether driving profitability, leading transitions, or building scalable systems, he delivers the insights and results organizations need to thrive.

In his free time, Nate is either tackling his personal value creation plan on the timber farm—usually involving timber stand improvement or an excuse to use the excavator. One thing’s for sure: you’ll rarely catch him sitting still…unless it’s winter, which he’s definitely not a fan of.

Krissie is a dynamic HR leader, coach, and consultant with over a decade of experience in driving human capital strategy and business transformation. Krissie has spent her entire career immersed in the world of portfolio companies, staffing for privately held businesses, and ultimately transitioning in-house to Private Equity in her most recent position. At MiddleGround Capital, she supported both the firm’s portfolio and internal talent acquisition and management initiatives, giving her a unique edge in delivering sustainable solutions that drive growth while maximizing stakeholder time and investment.

Krissie's career spans roles such as Global Director of Human Capital & Strategic Services at MiddleGround Capital, where she expanded the firm’s headcount by over 400%, launched international operations, and developed impactful talent initiatives that reduced costs and elevated retention to industry-leading levels. Renowned for her ability to foster effective team leadership and execution, Krissie specializes in optimizing performance and empowering leaders to thrive in complex, fast-paced environments.

Krissie is actively pursuing an M.S. in Leadership and Organizational Development with a concentration in Executive Coaching from the University of Texas at Dallas. As a SHRM-certified professional, she approaches work and life as a constant learner, always eager to grow and refine her craft. When not partnering with organizations, she channels her passion for development into coaching, working with high-potential individuals to help them overcome adversity, gain clarity, and maximize their potential both personally and professionally.

In her free time, Kristen enjoys tackling projects on the farm, including tending to the chickens she convinced her husband to adopt for a steady supply of fresh eggs. Whether hiking the trails near her Kentucky home or planning her next big adventure, she brings the same enthusiasm and determination to her personal life as she does to her work.
